Which products are safe and which ones aren't?

Safe products are usually, though not always, the ones made with simple and natural ingredients and materials. But each product has to be looked at on a case by case basis.

For instance, wood toys seem like they'd be safe, but some might be harboring lead paint and formaldehyde.

Cotton pajamas seem like a safer choice than polyester, but not if they are treated with cancer causing flame retardants.

Why are these toxic products still on the shelves?
